Wyoming’s compliance load is light by design. There are a handful of recurring obligations; missing any of them lapses your entity. Orgs handles all of them automatically.

Compliance dashboard

The console shows a live compliance view per entity: which obligations are upcoming, which are overdue (rare — we auto-file), and which are historically complete.

Good standing

An entity’s good standing with Wyoming depends on:
  1. Current Annual Report on file
  2. Registered Agent current
  3. No administrative dissolution flags
  4. Franchise tax (none in WY, but this matters for other states)
Good standing is checkable directly from the Wyoming SOS. We verify weekly and alert immediately on any status change.

BSA / AML

For most Orgs entities, BSA/AML obligations are satisfied by the bank KYC-ing you at account opening. You are not yourself a financial institution (unless you elect to be). Exceptions:
  • If your entity transmits money as a service (MSB) → BSA applies directly
  • If you custody crypto for third parties → state money transmitter licenses apply
  • If you operate a lending business → state lending licenses
Consult counsel if any of these apply.
